Run For Shelter
November 7th, there is an opportunity for us to come together and help the homeless by participating in a 5K race or walk at Tribble Mill Park in Lawrenceville. Click run 4 shelter Mail Entry Form.pdf for a mail in a registration flier or you can use this link to register on line.
For a few hours in the morning, you can get some great exercise and help a worthy cause by helping to house homeless people in our area. This is also a timed race for those youth that need races for school. Can you imagine the impact we would make if we had the same crowd show up for the race that we had for the Day of Service? It doesn’t matter if you win or loose, what matters is the goal.

The Northeast Georgia Council Jamboree Committee is now accepting applications for 2017 National Scout Jamboree Troop and Crew leaders.
The 2017 National Scout Jamboree is again expected to be inviting both Scout Troops and Venturing Crews. To have a successful Jamboree for all interested Scouts and Venturers, the council needs qualified and committed adult leadership beginning planning and promotion in early 2015.
