Friends of Scouting (FOS)
The annual Friends of Scouting (FOS) campaign is an opportunity for communities, businesses and families to support the Scouting movement in Northeast Georgia.
The drive raises a large percentage of our councils operating budget each year, On average, $180.00 per youth is needed to provide programs for one year.
During the months of December - March, each unit should schedule a "Family" Friends of Scouting presentation. Click here to schedule your units FOS presentation. This presentation explains to parents how our Council is financed and educates them about our wonderful facilities.
It's time to schedule your OA Unit Visitation, formally known as a Unit Election. We will come to your unit and run an OA Election, but we will also talk about all the different camping/High Adventure Opportunities in our council and scouting in general. To schedule your unit visitation click here and fill out the online OA Unit Election Request Form or talk to the OA election team or Chapter Adviser at the district roundtable on the 2nd Thursday of each month @ Collins Hill High School from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM.
